 Twilight series
« Thread Started on Jun 17, 2008, 7:54am »

Have you read the book 'Twilight' along with 'New Moon' and 'Eclipse'? I have. I LOVE THEM. I know they're pretty popular and, even though the story seems a bit corny (and Anne Rice's books are pretty darn good, too), I still feel like I've been with the characters in the story, and I actually know them.

I've re-re-read every single book in the series. Pretty crazy, huh?
It's an odd romance, a bit of a comedy, but it sure does make you eager to turn the page.

I have cried twice while reading it. Actually I poured tears. It was during school. Right before the bell rang to go to lunch, I read the words in 'New Moon' that just felt like a stab in the heart, a rock thrown at my chest, the breath stuck in my throat. I ran out thedoor, crying down the hallway. I had a friend who couldn't read it for two days because they were soo sad. They cried and way more than me.

Anyways, I love the books!! Read them (unless you don't like vampires or werewolves or adorable romance or 'Twilight' in general)...

I love the Twilight series as well. It didn't make me cry, but I was angry at Edward for almost not being in a whole book. I really liked the first book as Bella and Edward were just meeting and there was a sort of mystery between the both of them. She couldn't figure out why he looked like he hated her and he couldn't read her thoughts at all. The first book got me hooked and I can't wait for the next!

I know. I, personally, like the 1st and 3rd book the best, but I still think they're all great books.

Yesh. My friend bought the newest book. She's finishing it tonight, and then I'm coming over to pick it up and borrow it.

I decided that I don't like it. It's getting WAY to...romantic for my taste. :P
